The house is designed for a maximum of six people. The sleeping arrangements are divided into three bedrooms: a master bedroom with a king-size bed, another bedroom with a queen-size bed, and a third room with two twin-size beds. The beds are separated in the room but can be pushed together if needed.

The house will be cleaned by a professional cleaning team after your departure. However, it is still desirable that you take out the trash and leave the house in broom-clean condition. The cost for staying in our vacation home is dependent on factors such as the duration of your stay (minimum 1 week) and the number of guests (maximum 6 people). We would be happy to provide you with a detailed offer for your inquiry.

Please understand that, for hygiene reasons (e.g., pool), we do not allow pets in our vacation home. Additionally, we want to ensure a relaxing vacation for all guests and there is a possibility that future guests may have allergies to pet hair, which could hinder their ability to have a pleasant stay. We appreciate your understanding.

There is a strict no-smoking policy in our vacation home. However, smoking is allowed on the terrace and in the entire pool area. Ashtrays are provided for this purpose.

Vacation is usually the time to unwind, but we understand the desire to stay connected. You will have access to free Wi-Fi internet in the house and throughout the pool area. The high-speed connection allows you to surf at speeds of up to 180 Mbps.

In general, it is important to note that when staying in a vacation home, you are responsible for self-catering. In order to provide you with a pleasant stay in our house, the following services or facilities are included in the rental price:

• High-speed internet in the house and throughout the pool area
• Three flat-screen TVs with a wide selection of channels (US channels only)
• Fully air-conditioned living area
• Sufficient hand and bath towels provided
• All beds are made up with fresh linens upon your arrival

As the demand from our guests is limited, we currently do not offer German television in our vacation home. From our own experience, guests do not really miss it as the vacation in Florida provides plenty of distractions and time to relax without the need for a television. However, there are still three flat-screen TVs in the house that offer a wide selection of US channels.

The slogan "The land of endless possibilities" not only applies to the well-known cliché of going from dishwasher to successful entrepreneur but also to the vacationer in the United States. Everything is bigger, grander, and it feels like there's more of everything. The state of Florida offers so many attractions that one should plan to stay for a minimum of two to three weeks. If you want to explore the hotspots of the country with a road trip through the Sunshine State, it is recommended to allow at least four weeks for the journey.

As your statutory health insurance does not apply in the USA, it is recommended to take out international health insurance before your trip.

Having a credit card is almost essential for a vacation in the USA. Especially when picking up a rental car, you will need a credit card to provide a deposit. Additionally, even small amounts (such as coffee or gum) are often paid with a credit card.

In the United States, where restaurant servers receive a small dollar amount as wages, they heavily rely on tips. It is generally expected to leave a tip of around 15-20% of the total bill. While these additional costs are willingly accepted, it is worth noting that the staff in most restaurants and bars are extremely friendly and attentive.

It is definitely recommended to book or reserve your rental car for your vacation from home. Otherwise, there is no guarantee that a car will be available during your desired time period. Additionally, most rental car providers allow for last-minute cancellations in case you unexpectedly cannot go on your trip.

Note: We recommend that you consider purchasing extended liability insurance and pay attention to how many additional drivers are included in the rental agreement.

In Florida, as a tourist, you do not need an additional international driver's license. It is sufficient to have your German driver's license with you.

For a vacation in Florida or the USA, basic English skills are certainly necessary. Based on personal experience, basic school-level English is sufficient to get by in the area, as the residents of Florida are generally helpful towards foreigners and have a lot of patience if you don't understand something immediately due to their laid-back attitude.
